PUBG was once the apple of the eye of battle royale players everywhere, but has recently fallen on hard times as more competitors crop up with innovative additions to the formula that PUBG innovated. Still, the game is one of the first of its kind, and kickstarted a genre that has now come to completely dominate the gaming industry. While PUBG appears to be heading in the wrong direction of late, it’s difficult to dispute that Greene has a keen eye for what would catch the interest of gamers, and it’s not like PUBG is going anywhere – it’s just unlikely to pose much of a threat to Fortnite or the insurgent Apex Legends at this po
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds _ is finally coming to PlayStation 4, and they have released an epic live-action trailer to prove it. Directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, the trailer is comprised of just over two minutes of hilarious, action-packed goodness. Opting to move away from that world , Vogt-Roberts has since turned his attention to adapting Metal Gear Solid for the big scr
Patch 30 brings an enormous change to the game with the addition of ledge grabbing. According to the official patch notes on the PUBG website, players will be able to grab onto the edge of most obstacles that are up to 2.5 meters high. The change will allow smoother movement as players will be able to leap from obstacle to obstacle without ever touching the ground. It will even allow players to climb onto roofs, opening up areas that were previously inaccessible. This is the first of two planned updates dealing with the ledge grab. The current update doesn’t allow players to grab onto or slide down railings, which the developers say will be added in the second update. The developers also note that they’re looking for feedback from players to improve the new feat
Commonly referred to as PUBG, the fellow video game property was first released in 2017. Inspired by the popular Japanese film, it kickstarted the Battle Royale genre of games, selling over 5 million copies in three months. A version of the game was eventually released on Xbox One. However, it has been frequently plagued by performance issues, bugs, and aggressive monetization tactics, including insanely expensive DCEU skins . Despite that, and the fact it has since been surpassed by Fortnite __ in terms of popularity, PUBG still boasts a solid fanbase. In an effort to reclaim and expand on that base, the game will next release on the PS4. Although many fans were pleased with the announcement, there are also those that consider the move far too la

That belief can be seen not only in Metal Gear Solid concept art but this new short film-style trailer. Nothing seen in the trailer can actually be executed in the game, after all. Well, except wiping out your opponents, that is. Instead, the trailer retains the general themes and concepts represented in the game. It also emphasizes the epic, tense, and amusing scenarios that can arise in the game – all of which serve to make the genre so addictive. With a big screen Resident Evil reboot coming, Hollywood isn’t giving up on mining material from games. Thankfully, Vogt-Roberts is helping to pave the way and show them how it’s d

In an interview during Spain’s Gamelab conference, Greene described his time leading the development of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds , the tumultuous post-launch period, and the harassment and abuse he’s faced as a result of the game’s overnight succ
In addition to bringing parkour into PUBG , Patch 30 also introduces a new vehicle, the BRDM-2, which can travel through water, though at a greatly reduced speed. The BRDM-2 is an armored vehicle that can only be found by calling it in with a flare gun, and it replaces the UAZ that used to be called in the same way. It’s a much hardier vehicle than the UAZ, able to withstand twice the amount of damage and equipped with unbreakable wheels. That makes it an excellent transport vehicle, but to balance it out, players can’t fire weapons while onbo
